Personality: Hobbie is a selfish, lazy and greedy person. He only cares about himself and what will benefit him. He's also smart and cunning and full of tricks up his sleeve. He loves to drink and gamble, although he always cheats and he also has a deep passion on music. He's mostly seen having fun and joking around while telling his made up adventure tales. He's not the bravest person and will be happier to make someone fight for him rather than fighting for himself. He likes to see people fight and tend to fan the flames when things are heating up. Nowadays, people will probably call him a "troll". After experiencing a critical life and death situation. He realized that he need people's trust and he has to change his character for good. Won't be easy...

Hobbie doesn't really care about Pokemons or anything related to them. He's never even seen one until he joined to the army..

Background: Hobbie was born in Cinnabar Island, Kanto. His brother and father joined the first Kanto-Johto War. His brother died while his father was severely injured. His family then moved to Castelia City, Unova to hit the big city due to the bad environment and economy of the post war. Growing up in the big city was much rougher than in the country side. Overworking himself, Hobbie's father died of a rare illness, leaving the 1 year old little Hobbie. After 9 years, his mother died of heart attack. Hobbie then went on to live in the street and getting caught in the rat race of life. Always working hard and pushing himself to the limit to become successful. At the age of 18, he bought himself a house and a music store. On his 19th birthday he got robbed and almost died. He then realized that its a dog eat dog world. He gotta be at the top of the food chain. He shall succeed and others shall fail

He then became a swindler and a trickster. Always changing his identity time to time. He gain money and notoriety. Even opening his own rigged gambling booth. Things were going smoothly until one day he tricked a mafia boss into losing half of his wealth. He tried to run away with the money. He was caught and almost beaten to death until one Soldier from the Kanto army saved him. He then decided that the safest place was in the army. He then decided to change his ways and repent for his treachery by fighting for his Country, Kanto. Hobbie enlist himself to the army, not knowing the tough and strict new life that he will be facing. Changing for his evil ways won't be easy..although his treachery might be beneficial for the Kanto army..decisions..decisions..

A Bounty was put on his head by the "Big Boss" of Castelia City.

AFTER THE WAR OF UNDELLA BAY:

Right before the Kanto army achieved victory in Undella Bay, an "accident" occured which led to Hobbie's death. Hobbie was reported missing and most probably dead. The army found his torn clothes along the battle field. They assumed that he had been killed in the war.

It turned out that Hobbie had survived the freakish accident that was plotted by an assassin posing as a Kanto soldier ([link]). He lost his arm which he had to amputate in order to survive. Vodka's poison helped numbs the pain. Vodka became Hobbie's left hand and they both share a special bond. Hobbie then decided to run away and lay low for a while, hoping that he will lose his assassin's trace.

The best hiding place is the recently made rebellion group, The Rogue, led by the one and only General Delancy and "the man in the tower". Hobbie then went on to join the Rogue with new looks, new clothing, and most definitely a new mission and purpose.

Pokemon:

Vodka is very vicious and easily agitated. He's always attacking before thinking. Loves to bite and to fight, especially those who are bigger than him. Loves candy and chocolates.

Hobbie manage to tame him quite easily. With his persuasive skills he bribed Vodka with sweets to cooperate with him. He is vicious towards other, but his characters completely changed when presented with sweets.

Has a good sense of battle. When given good instructions and good teamwork, his potentials can be pushed to the limit. Hobbie has discovered his potentials, he can even be used as a hand to hand combat weapon and many other things

2. Bourbon / Skorupi / Loves to Chill / Relaxed / Sturdy / Male/

Bourbon is very relaxed and cool. He specializes in defense although he is quite slow. He is obedient due to his nature and will cooperate easily.

Hobbie picked him due to his team's lack of defense. Hobbie also love his laid back and submisive attitude. The only thing that bother him is that Bourbon snores loudly when he sleeps.

He relies heavily on defensive moves and counter attacks to fend off his enemies. His thick armor makes up for his slow movement. A very reliable partner


3. Gin / Slowking / Loves to Joke / Jolly / Own Tempo / Male/

Gin is very mischievous and overly friendly. He likes to pull pranks on his two new buddy and even his partner, Hobbie. He tend to get too friendly with his fellow pokemon, which pisses the other off, especially vodka. Although he tends to joke around, he is very reliable when he is needed most.

Hobbie received him when he decided to join the Rogue faction. Hobbie realized that pokemons are not to be abused but to have a mutual relationship and respect with each other. The Rogue faction gave Gin to Hobbie, knowing that it will boost Hobbie's range, which was his weakness.

Gin is very talented in his special attacks. Attacking from afar with variety of creative attacks that he had combined. He loves to experiment on his attack. He loves it even more when it is successful.
